Ingredients
MAKES I DRINK
5-6 sprigs fresh woodruff
(available in gourmet
stores)
1/8 cup bourbon
2 tsp sugar syrup
(I.e. simple syrup)
Ice-cold, dry sparkling
wine for topping up
Plus:
Crushed ice
Muddler
Collins glass (8 oz)
Straw
Standing time: 2 hours
Method
1 Place woodruff in the collins glass and crush slightly with the muddler. Pour on bourbon, cover, and let stand for 2 hours.
2 Fill glass with crushed ice, pour on sugar syrup, and stir well. Top up with sparkling wine and serve with the straw
