Martini Cocktail is a  lovely, i made a large batch for a party and it got rave reviews. nice for party cocktail recipe, Great luxury elegant Hotel Restaurant Cocktail.

Ingredients

1/3cupgin

l½tbs dry vermouth

(e.g. Martini Extra Dry)

I large green olive

(in brine)

Plus:

Ice cubes

Mixing glass

Bar strainer

Martini glass (4 oz)

Method 

1 In the mixing glass, combine gin, vermouth, and 8—10 ice cubes and stir vigorously for about 6 seconds.

2 Strain into the martini glass. Carefully place the olive in the glass. Serve immediately.

Tips 

For a slightly acidic flavor, squeeze I piece lemon peel over the drink so that the essential oils drip into the glass, then drop the peel ¡n the glass.
