Frothy Gin Cocktail is a great idea for sparkling wine thats not quite sweet enough. Very nice Strongly and Great luxury elegant Hotel Restaurant Cocktail.
Ingredients
MAKES I DRINK
1/8 cup gin
1/8 cup vermouth rosso
(e.g. Martini Rosso)
2tsp freshly squeezed
lemon juice
1½ tbs grenadine syrup
1 fresh egg white
Plus:
Ice cubes
Cocktail shaker
Bar strainer
Collins glass (8 oz)
1 straw
Method
1 Combine gin, vermouth, lemon juice, grenadine, egg white and 4 ice cubes in the shaker, close, and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds.
2 Strain shaker contents into the collins glass over 3 ice cubes and serve with the straw.
Variations
Non-alcoholic: To make a Frothy Orange. combine ¼ cup plus 2 teaspoons blood orange juice, 4 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice, 4 teaspoons grenadine, 1 egg white, and 4 ice cubes in a shaker, shake, and pour over ice.
