Chocolate-Dipped Apples with Coconut

Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 2 minutes | Serves 4

½ cup dark chocolate chips
¼ unsweetened shredded coconut
2 medium apples, cut into wedges

1. In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave the chocolate on high for 60
seconds, then remove and stir. Microwave again for 30 to 45 seconds,
or until the chocolate is fully melted.

2. In a small bowl, place the coconut. Set the bowl next to a large
plate.

3. Remove the chocolate from the microwave, stirring it once more.

4. Dip the bottom half of each apple slice into the melted chocolate.

5. Immediately dip the apple slice in the shredded coconut and place on the empty plate to set.

6. Let the chocolate harden, about 10 minutes, then serve.
