The Paksiw na Isda (Fish in Vinegar Sauce) Serves 4
Paksiw na Isda |
2 lbs. fish slices (rainbow trout, salmon or milkfish)
1/2 cup vinegar
3-4 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons ginger, sliced
1 hot chili pepper (optional)
1/4 cup water
salt and pepper to taste
Method:
Combine all ingredients together in a glass cooking pan or a stainless steel pan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to medium low.
Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Transfer to a serving dish.
