Hot and Sweet Peppered Chicken

Hot and Sweet Peppered Chicken Recipe seasoned peppercorns are available in the herb and spice section of large supermarkets.

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon oil
2 chicken breast fillets, cut into strips
2 1/2 teaspoons seasoned peppercorns
1 onion, cut into wedges
1 red capsicum, cut into thin strips
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar

Method:
Heat a wok over very high heat, add some oil and swirl it to coat the base and side of the wok.

Add all the chicken strips and stir-fry it for about 2 or 3 minutes, or until they become brown.

Add the peppercorns and stir-fry it until they become fragrant.

Add the onion and the capsicum and stir-fry them for about 2 minutes, or until the vegetables have become slightly soften.

Reduce the heat and stir in the oyster sauce, the soy and the sugar.

Toss them well until they thoroughly combine before serving.
