Dr. Dawn’s Good for You Oatmeal Cookies from Dawn Obrecht. Holiday Dessert bake-off Christmas Special recipe. I have modified the recipe over the past 35 years, using many variations. The cookies got me through medical school, have helped me meet people, and are featured in my book, Mission Possible. Try substituting white chocolate chips or butterscotch chips and raisins or peanut butter chips, walnuts, peppermint pieces and carob. Use whole wheat flour for extra nutrition and graininess.
