Tandoori Kebabs with Yogurt Dressing

Tandoori Kebabs with Yogurt Dressing serve thes kebabs with white or brown rice, colored yellow with turmeric. Great and elegant luxury recipes for entairtaining.

Serves: 4 Prep: 15 mins, plus marinating
Cooking: 8 mins

Ingredients 
chicken fillets 500 g (lib), cubed
peanut oil 3 tablespoons
garlic cloves 3, crushed
ground cumin I teaspoon
ground coriander I teaspoon
turmeric 4 teaspoon
hot paprika I teaspoon
salt and pepper

Yogurt dressing:
plain yogurt ISO ml (4 cup)
lemon juice 3 tablespoons
grated cucumber well drained, 3 tablespoons
chopped dill I tablespoon
Dijon mustard  teaspoon
clear honey  teaspoon

Method 
Thread the chicken on the kebab skewers. Mix the oil, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika. turmeric, salt and pepper and pour over the kebabs. 

Coat the kebabs in the marinade, cover and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight.

Make the dressing. Combine the yogurt. lemon jUice, cucumber, dill, mustard, honey, salt and pepper. Set aside.

Lift the chicken kebabs out of the marinade and cook under a preheated broiler for 2—3 minutes. 

Serve on a bed of rice with the dressing.
