Ingredients 

PUDDING

1 recipe pudding, custard,

or mousse of your choice

MIDDLE LAYER

12 cookies, whole or crumbled,or other filling of your choice

CREME

1 recipe creme of your choice

TOPPING (choose one or more)

½ cup lightly toasted sliced orslivered almonds or chopped

walnuts, hazelnuts, or pecans

½ cup shredded dried coconut (sweetened or unsweetened),

lightly toasted

½ cup sliced fruit or berries

Grated nondairy chocolate

Crumbled cookies

Method 

To assemble the parfaits, divide the pudding equally among 6 decorative glass bowls or stemmed goblets. Divide the middle layer equally over the pudding. Spoon the crème equally over the middle layer. Finally, sprinkle the topping(s) of your choice over the creme.

Tips 

You can make the parfaits with additional layers or with other flavorings or nuts, if desired. If you like, drizzle your favorite fruit sauce, such as Strawberry Sauce over the top of each parfait.
