Slow Cooked Lasagna

Slow Cooked Lasagna Recipe is allows you to make a healthy meal ahead of time.

Ingredients
1 pound Italian sausage
1 cup Diced onion
2 cups Water
1 jar (15 oz.) Prepared spaghetti sauce
½ cup Fat-free ricotta cheese
3 cloves Minced garlic
1 tsp. Chopped oregano
½ cup Grated mozzarella cheese
½ cup Grated parmesan cheese
8 oz. Lasagna noodles

Method:
1. Chop and cook the sausage and onions in a pan.

2. In a large bowl, combine the sausage and onions with the sauce, water, garlic, ricotta cheese, and oregano. Combine and mix the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.

3. Spread 1/8 of the sauce across the bottom of the slow cooker crock.

4. Top the mixture with 1/8 of the cheese. Lay lasagna noodles over the sauce and cheese, breaking the noodles as needed.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 twice.

6. Turn the slow cooker on low for five to six hours. Serve hot.
