Caprese Salad Recipe the dish uses the colors of the flag of Italy, where it comes from. It is a simple, healthy, and attractive salad.

Ingredients
8 oz Mozzarella, cut in circular slices
2 Roma tomatoes, cut in circular slices
1 cup Fresh, whole basil leaves
½ cup Olive oil
¼ cup Balsamic vinegar
Method:
1. Arrange the slices of cheese and tomato in an alternating, circular pattern on a serving dish.
2. Sprinkle the basil leaves on top of the tomatoes and cheese.
3. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil and vinegar.Whisk together to make vinaigrette.
4. Cover and chill in a refrigerator until it is time to serve. Just before serving, drizzle the salad with the vinaigrette.
