Ingredients 

1/3 cup sweetened shredded coconut

24 salted almonds

3 ounces milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method 

1. Place a medium, nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot. 

2.Add coconut and cook 2 minutes or until beginning to turn golden, stirring constantly. Set aside.

3. Arrange almonds on a sheet of waxed paper, about 1-inch apart in a single layer.

4. Place chocolate chips in a small, resealable plastic bag. Microwave on HIGH (100%) 1 minute. Squeeze bag gently to mix slightly, and microwave 1 minute longer or until melted.

5. Snip a small piece from the corner of the baggie and squeeze chocolate evenly over almonds.

6. Sprinkle with coconut and cool completely until firm. Store in refrigerator, ¡f desired. Makes 24 bugs
