Filipino Pork Asado

The Filipino Pork Asado (Pork in Soy Sauce and Sugar) Recipe Serves 4-5

Filipino Pork Asado
1-1/2 lbs. boneless pork, cut into small serving pieces
1/4 cup light soy sauce
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
I bay leaf
salt and pepper to taste (optional)

Pork in Soy Sauce and Sugar
In a non-stick skillet, combine all ingredients together. Cover and simmer in medium low heat for 30-40 minutes or until meat is tender and liquid has evaporated.

Stir occasionally. Turn meat to brown both sides and to blend flavor well. Serve with steamed rice.
