Fresh Tomato Salsa

Fresh Tomato Salsa Recipe I grow tomatoes in a pot, and I have enough fully grown tomatoes to make a fresh tomato salsa. From  Anna Victoria Reich, Stafford, Virginia

Ingredients:
3 medium tomatoes
1 medium green bell pepper, finely chopped
6 medium green onions, finely chopped
(white and green parts)
1 medium jalapeño chile, seeded and finely chopped
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro, or to taste
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons lime juice, or to taste
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
Tortilla chips

Method:
1. Cut the tomatoes in half crosswise. Squeeze to remove any excess liquid and seeds, and chop.

2. Combine the tomatoes, bell pepper, green onions, jalapeño, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, and salt in a medium bowl.

3. Toss gently to blend, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to blend.

4. Serve with tortilla chips.
