Ingredients
MAKES I DRINK
1/2 Alime
2 tsp sugar syrup
(i.e. simple syrup)
5 leaves fresh mint
¼ cup plus 2 tsp vodka
11h tbs crème de cassis
(black currant liqueur)
Unfiltered apple juice for
topping up
Plus:
Crushed ice
Muddler
Large cocktail glass (10 oz)
1 straw
Method
1 Rinse lime under hot water, wipe dry, cut into 12 pieces and place in the cocktail glass along with sugar syrup.
2 Squeeze out Limes thoroughly with the muddler. Rinse mint leaves, pat dry, add, and crush.
3 Fill glass half full with crushed ice. Add vodka, then cassis. Top up with apple juice, stir briefly, and serve with the straw.
