Ingredients 

MAKES 1 DRINK

1/8 cup plus 2 tsp freshly

squeezed lime Juice

8—10 leaves fresh mint

2 tsp sugar

2 tsp sugar syrup

(i.e. simple sugar)

1/4 cup white rum

I dash club soda

Plus:

Crushed ¡ce

Muddler

Rocks glass (5 oz)

1 straw

Method

1 Combine lime juice, mint, sugar, and sugar syrup ¡n the rocks glass. 

2 Crush mint slightly with the muddler. Pour on rum and fill up glass with crushed ice.

3 Top up with club soda and stir once vigorously from top to bottom. Serve with the straw.
