MAKES I DRINK
1 tsp brown sugar
1/8 cup plus 2 tsp gin
1 1/2 tbs vermouth blanco
(e.g. Martini Blanco)
I tsp orange liqueur
Rocks glass (5 oz)
1 Rinse kumquats under hot water, wipe dry, and slice finely, removing the seeds.
2 Place the slices in the rocks glass, sprinkle with sugar, and crush slightly with the muddler.
3 Fill rocks glass with crushed ice and pour on remaining ingredients. Give it one good stir. Cut straw in half and serve with the straws.
