Ingredients

1 piece lemon peel
1/8 cup plus I tbs bourbon
1 dash Angostura
Ice-cold ginger ale for
topping up
Plus:
Ice cubes
Collins glass (8 oz)
1 straw
Method
1 Place 3 ice cubes and lemon peel in the collins glass. Pour on whiskey and Angostura.
2 Top up with ginger ale. Stir once and serve with the straw.
Tips
To make this zesty drink more visually appealing, use a zester to grate off peel from a lemon. Or cut the piece of peel into long, thin strips.
