TOGUE GUISADO (Sautéed Bean Sprouts)


The TOGUE GUISADO (Sautéed Bean Sprouts) Recipe Serves 4

TOGUE GUISADO (Sautéed Bean Sprouts)
Ingredients:
4 cups bean sprouts, washed and drained
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
I clove garlic, minced
I medium-sized onion, sliced
I medium-sized tomato, sliced
1/2 cup shrimps, shelled
1/2 cup pork, sliced thinly into 2-inch strips
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
salt and pepper to taste

Method:
In a skillet over medium heat, sauté garlic in oil until lightly browned. Add onion, stir for 1 minute. Add tomato and cook until soft. Add pork, soy sauce, salt and pepper.

Simmer for 8-10 minutes or until pork is tender. Add shrimps, cook for 3 minutes. Stir in bean sprouts and continue to simmer for another 3-4 minutes.

Serve immediately.
