The TANGY SALMON STEAKS RECIPE
Ingredients:
4 salmon steaks, cut 3/4-inch thick
salt to taste
vegetable oil for frying
1 large onion, sliced crosswise and separated into rings
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
pepper to taste
parsley for garnish
Method:
Sprinkle salt lightly on salmon steaks. In a skillet over medium heat, pan-fry salmon in a little oil until cooked and browned on both sides. Set aside on a serving platter.
In another skillet over medium high heat, pan-fry onion rings in 1 tablespoon oil for 30-45 seconds. Add soy sauce, lemon juice and pepper and bring to a quick boil.
Pour sauce immediately on top of salmon steaks. Arrange onion rings on top. Garnish with parsley.
Serve warm with rice. Serves 4
