The The Paksiw na Lechon (Roast Pork in Special Sauce) Recipe Serves 3-4
The Paksiw na Lechon |
1 lb. leftover roast pork (lechon), cut into serving pieces
1/4 cup lechon sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons vinegar
l-1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
I bay leaf
1/4 teaspoon black peppercorns
dash of oregano and cloves
Method:
Combine all ingredients together in a non-stick skillet. Cover and let boil, then simmer over medium low heat for 10-15 minutes or until all flavors have blended well into the meat.
Stir occasionally while cooking. Serve with steamed rice.
