Brown Sugar Applesauce

The Brown Sugar Applesauce Recipe Especially delicious with roast pork! I like to use Granny Smith apples for this recipe.

Makes 6 to 8 servings.

Ingredients:
3 lbs. cooking apples, cored, peeled and sliced
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 t. cinnamon
1-1/2 T. lemon juice

Method:
Garnish: cinnamon

Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on high setting for 3 hours. Stir occasionally; mash with a potato masher to desired consistency. Sprinkle portions with cinnamon.
