The Filipino Chicken Adobo Recipe The best way to make this is with equal parts of soy sauce & apple cider vinegar, not white. 2 1/2 lbsChicken thighs
1 Onion; chopped
3 clovesGarlic; minced
1 cupVinegar
1 1/2 cupsWater
1 1/2 cupSoy sauce
2 Bay leaves
Pepper; to taste
Method:
Place all ingredients in a pot and simmer until chicken is tender, about 1 hour. Serve hot over cooked rice. It can also be cooked in a crock pot on low setting all day. this easy recipe can be prepared ahead and it freezes well.
