The Filipino Melon Ice Candy Recipe What a refreshing treat for the whole family! I used sweetened condensed milk instead of evaporated milk, didn't use the sugar and used 1/2 the water. Poured it into popsickle molds for my daughter. Turned out to be a great snack without too much sugar.

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups white sugar
1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
2 quarts water
4 pounds cantaloupe, shredded
Method:
Mix cantaloupe, evaporated milk, water, and sugar in a large pitcher, stirring until combined. Refrigerate for 10 minutes. Divide shredded cantaloupe and liquid into molds and freeze until firm, about 6 hours.
