German Waffles

German Waffles Recipe is a batter or dough based cake cooked in a waffle iron patterned to give a distinctive and characteristic shape.

Recipe for about 10

Ingredients:
A waffle iron
Dough
150 g sifted flour
50 g granulated sugar
Bourbon 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
Lemon zest of 1 lemon
4 eggs (size M)
1 pinch salt
150 g milk
10 g Rum
100 g melted butter
also
Vegetable oil for frying
Powdered sugar for dusting

Method:
1. Flour, 30 g sugar, vanilla sugar and lemon zest in a Bowl and mix.

2. Separate the eggs. The protein with the remaining sugar and salt with a hand mixer beat until stiff.

3. Egg yolks, milk and rum, stir, gradually to the Pour flour and stir until smooth with an electric mixer. Then the egg whites with a spatula under the mass increase. The butter to break in and stir.
