Hummus

Hummus Recipe When combined with bread, hummus provides complete protein.

Ingredients
1 cup Canned garbanzo beans (chick peas)
¼ cup Tahini (sesame seed paste)
2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
1 clove Garlic, minced
Dash Salt
1 Tbsp. Minced fresh parsley
Yield 4 servings

Method:
1. Drain and rinse the beans, then puree them in a blender.

2. Add tahini, lemon juice, garlic and salt. Blend until smooth.

3. Place mixture n a serving bowl. Garnish with minced parsley.

4. Serve as a spread or a dip for toasted pita chips or raw vegetables.
