Ingredients 

1 (20-ounce) can cherry pie filling

1 (15-ounce) container refrigerated pie dough

(2 per container)

1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Nonstick caoking spray

Cinnamon sugar

Method 

1. Preheat oven to 3750 F.

2. Unroll pie doughs and cut each ¡tito 4 quarters.

3. In a bowl, combine pie filling and almond extract. Toss gently to blend.

4. Spoon 1/4 cup of cherry mixture in center of each pie quarter. Fold edges over to form a triangle and presstogether with tines of fork to seal tightly.

5. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray. 

6. Place popovers on sheet and spray with additional cooking spray. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and bake 15 to 25 minutes, or until golden.

7. Let cool on baking sheet 5 minutes. Serve while hot. Makes 8 popovers
