Decorator Frosting I Recipe is the decorating frosting recipe that I learned when I first started decorating cakes. I like the almond flavoring but you can also use butter flavoring if you prefer the butter flavor.

Ingredients

1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract

1 cup shortening

4 cups confectioners' sugar

4 tablespoons milk

Method:

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Beat on low speed of electric mixer until well blended and very smooth.
