A specialist online wine retailer offering the private sale of fine French wines has launched today.

The Perfect Cellar is a new venture drawing on the expertise of wine buyer Vincent Honorat, a qualified oenologist and judge in French wine competitions.

Provence-based Mr Honorat searches out wines from lesser-known vineyards and boutique producers based on their quality and exclusivity.

The wines are offered to members of The Perfect Cellar for a limited time period, or until they sell out.

Mr Honorat, a judge for both the Concours General Agricole and Concours des Vins dOrange, said: Were able to offer our members seriously fine wines at prices that are far less than you would find at traditional wine merchants.

Many of our wines appear on the wine lists of Michelin-starred restaurants, both in the UK and also in France.
And because we buy direct from smaller producers and in fixed quantites, we can offer our members great deals on wines that they wont find anywhere else.
The Perfect Mix Case features some of finest French wines of limited availability.
New wines will be added regularly to the website, with members alerted when new offers become available.
Opening offers include a mixed case of six different wines selected by. The Perfect Mixed Case, priced at £78.95, includes:

Brisson Jonchre 2007 exclusive UK suppliers of one of the best kept secrets in the champagne region.
Henri Bourgeois, Le Petit Bourgeois 2007 an excellent aperitif, very aromatic with pleasant flower and fruit fragrances.
