Ingredients
Sugar Cookies
½ cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 ¼ cup flour
1 ½ tsp backing powder
½ tsp. salt
Method
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. In another bowl, mix flour, backing powder and salt together.
Slowly add in flour mixture. Chill overnight. Roll dough, cut, and bake 10-12 minutes at 350F. Cool completely then frost.
Frosting
½ cup butter
2 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 Tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
Cream butter until fluffy and light. Add confectioner’s sugar slowly. Add milk and vanilla. Mix until desired consistency, adding more confectioners’ sugar as needed. Frost cookies.
