Waldorf Salad was really easy and very tasty. I took it on a picnic and it travelled really well. Everyone commented on how nice it was and makes a nice change from a traditional green salad.
Ingredients
For 4 servings
4 tart apples
300 g celeriac
Juice of 1-2 lemons
100 g walnuts
300 g green and blue grapes
150 g sour cream
Salt, pepper
Method
1 apple peel, remove seeds and cut into thin strips. Peel the celery, coarsely grind and mix with the apples. Pour lemon juice over it.
2 Roughly chop walnuts and add to the ingredients in the bowl. Wash grapes, drain, cut in half, remove seeds and also to give.
3 The sour cream with salt and pepper to taste strong and with the salad ingredients mix. Salad at least 3 hours of let stand.
