1 standing rib roast, about 2 kilos

salt and pepper, to taste

Method 

Preheat oven to 375° F. Season roast wth sa and pepper.

Bake, uncovered, in oven for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Turn off heat and keep oven door closed. Let roast stay in oven a few minutes.
