Chicken and Pork Stew

The CHICKEN & PORK ADOBO (Chicken and Pork Stew) Recipe Serves 4

Chicken and Pork Stew
1 lb. pork, cut into serving pieces
1 lb. chicken, cut into serving pieces
3-4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup vinegar
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon black peppercorns, cracked
3/4 teaspoon salt or desired amount to taste
1 bay leaf

Combine all ingredients together in a glass pan or a stainless steel pan. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Reduce heat to medium low and simmer for about 45 minutes or until meats are tender. Correct seasonings. Remove meats from sauce and pan-fry in a little oil until browned on both sides.

Transfer to a serving platter. Pour sauce over meats if desired. Serve with steamed rice. Holiday Recipes
