Filipino Papaya Salad

The Filipino Papaya Salad Recipe Combine sliced bananas with the papaya slices just before serving for a special tropical salad. Serves 2-3

Filipino Papaya Salad
1 firm ripe papaya
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1-1/2 teaspoon sugar

Cut papaya in half lengthwise. Remove seeds. Cut halves into three slices each, lengthwise. Peel skin with a sharp knife.

Cut papaya slices diagonally 1/2-inch thick. Place in a serving dish. Sprinkle with sugar and lemon juice.

Stir gently to blend flavors. Chill thoroughly before serving. Serve on top of lettuce leaves.
